BRIAR SUMMERS is a singer-songwriter from Muskoka, now based in Toronto. Her new album, Resonance, is out now! The first single "Lipstick" has already enjoyed airplay on various community radio stations around the world! Produced and mixed by Wayne Cochrane, mastered by Chris Crerar, at Metalworks Studios, Mississauga ON, it features the incredible talents of Ben Riley (drums), Drew Jurecka (viola, violin), Jack Gaughan (guitars), Cole Jodouin (bass), Daniel Dennis (cello) and Louis Tusz (trumpet).
Briar has performed on many stages throughout Muskoka, in Toronto, and beyond - as far away as Athens, Greece! Festival highlights include Summerfolk in Owen Sound, Muskoka Pride, Muskoka Music Festival, Bala Cranberry Festival and Huntsville's Festival of the Arts. She's the recipient of several performing arts awards over the years, most recently "The Voice of the Sea" aboard the Costa Fortuna in Europe. Briar now attends the University of Toronto, going into fourth year (physiology/immunology/human biology). New album Resonance out NOW!

She tries to give back to the community, and proceeds from some of her shows have supported several non-profit organizations like the Table Food Bank, Community Living Huntsville, Huntsville Festival of the Arts, Hunters Bay Radio, Atherley Community Centre, Gravenhurst Against Poverty, Muskoka Animal Rescue, Rotary Club of North Muskoka, Moose FM 105.5 Salvation Army Drive, Hospice Huntsville, South Muskoka & Huntsville Hospital Foundations.
Briar has also volunteered as host of YourTV/Cogeco "Muskoka On Stage" highlighting all the amazing live entertainment in the area.
